Finding the right size should be the easy part. Whether you already know the finger or you are keeping the whole thing a surprise, Stienhardt will send you a complimentary ring sizer so your ring fits beautifully from the very first moment — no jeweler visit, and nothing to pay for the sizer.

The easiest way — request one while you design

You do not need to know the size before you order. As you build your ring, open the Ring Size menu at the ring-size step and choose “Send me a Ring Sizer.” Place your order as usual and our team takes it from there.

Design your ring, and at the ring-size step select “Send me a Ring Sizer.”
Complete your order — the sizer is on us.
We mail you a reusable ring sizer, typically within a few business days.
Find the perfect fit at home, then reply to your order confirmation or contact us with the size.
We set your ring to that exact size and handcraft it to fit.

Prefer to measure right now?

If you would rather find your size today, here are two reliable at-home methods.

Paper or string

Wrap a strip of paper or string snugly around the base of the finger.
Mark where the ends meet and measure that length in millimeters — this is the finger’s circumference.
Match it to your size on our Find My Ring Size.

Measure a ring you already own

Take a ring that fits the correct finger, measure the inside diameter in millimeters, and compare it to the chart.

Tips for an accurate measurement

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest.
Skip it when your hands are cold — fingers shrink in the chill.
Wider bands sit more snugly; consider going up a quarter size.
Between two sizes, always choose the larger.
