Our Story
Stienhardt & Stones started in 2022 when our founders realized the Lab-grown diamond market wasn’t offering GIA-graded, high-color, and high-clarity diamonds for a reasonable price. Typically, diamonds change hands between dealers and middlemen before landing at the end consumer, which results in higher prices. Utilizing our history as a natural diamond manufacturer, we seized the growing popularity of lab-grown diamonds to pivot from wholesaling natural diamonds out of our overseas office to creating a retail-facing, direct-to-consumer storefront based out of New York City. Combining our 60 years of diamond-cutting experience, more efficient supply chain, and vapid approach to social media marketing, we are able to pass on savings to the end consumer while providing a long-lasting product that can be passed down for generations to come.
