Wedding Bands

Most people sit a quarter-size to a half-size larger on the wedding band than on the engagement ring. The engagement piece is usually a single ring on the finger; the band stacks next to it, which adds friction and a touch of swelling. Order a free sizer if you're unsure — we'll mail one.

Platinum is denser, heavier, and more durable — it doesn't wear away with rubbing, it just compresses. White gold is gold alloyed with a white metal and rhodium-plated; the plate wears off and needs re-applying every 1-3 years. Platinum costs roughly 1.5-2x white gold but lasts a lifetime without re-finishing.

Yes — if the engagement ring is from us, we have the original CAD file and can cut the band from the same metal lot for a tonal match. If it's from another maker, send us photos and we'll match the contour and metal as close as possible.

Our men's catalog covers platinum, the four golds (white, yellow, rose, two-tone), and palladium. We don't stock tungsten, titanium, or meteorite — those don't resize, can't be repaired, and don't hold up to the kind of wear our customers ask of a wedding band.

In-stock bands from our standard catalog ship in 5-7 business days. Custom CAD (new design or non-standard size/width) runs 3-4 weeks. Eternity and full-pavé bands take 2-3 weeks to set even when the band itself is in stock.

Yes. Resizing is included in the lifetime warranty for the original buyer — most bands resize up to two sizes either direction. Eternity bands are the exception (they can't be resized once the diamonds are fully set); for those we re-make rather than resize.
